In the countryside and strategically near the glamorous cities of Mantova, Brescia and Cremona, and not far from the striking Garda Lake - reachable in only twenty minutes by car, the little village of Sorbara, near the small town of Asola, brushes up once again its fashination. In fact in the XIX century this charming village induced the Count Paolo Tosio to take up residence in Sorbara and to decorate it with remarkable architectural features, strictly connected with the cultural and historical style that had already influenced the near town of Asola.
Hospitale i Mori is a wonderful farmstead situated in the centre of Sorbara and right in front of it there is the as much fashinating building that houses the restaurant “Il Gastaldo”. The two buildings create an elegant setting that plunges the guests in an atmosphere of ancient times. Hospitale i Mori reproposes the simple but refined architectures typical of the traditional farmsteads situated in the river Po’s valley.
During the summer period there is the opportunity to dine outside, in the peaceful and fenced garden of the near restaurant “Il Gastaldo”. Here the guests will find a very elegant place, and they will be encircled by the natural colours of bricks and stones, heightened also thanks to the careful lighting.
